The seeds were sown 4 years ago by seasoned consultants and managers sharing an entrepreneurial drive and a passion for Innovation, Design Thinking and Lean Startup methods.

Seppe and Dennis are firm believers that seeking customer feedback to direct your decisions before making investments is key to the success of innovation teams. It’s great to have cool ideas to revolutionize the world, but if there is no market for it, what’s the point, right?

Well, traditional market research exists but the surveys are difficult, procedures are complicated and reports are boring. That’s why they decided to unite their forces and rethink the validation methodology. They help innovation teams to validate their critical assumptions in just a few hours and push their project forward. In other words, they help companies to build a bridge that connects them with their consumers in a quick and smart way.

Today, they are 15 talented professionals focused on creating a real impact with their clients by challenging the status quo! Together they check assumptions, define questions for the survey, help analyse the collected data, define conclusions and help pivot or scrap innovations.

To set a clear course for success, they designed an effective survey tool, created a milestone methodology and gathered a motley and reactive community of 20.000 Belgian people. Through all of this, they bring companies’ businesses to a whole new level.

They are active in Belgium, have an office in Mechelen and their clients are mostly medium to large corporates but they can be anybody that has the eager to look beyond!

What will be your challenge?

You will be part of the management team together with the 2 co-founders, the head of commercial and the head of People & Marketing and you will be responsible of 1 Project Manager. Your challenge will be focused on the Community aspect of the concept.

  • Your role will be to have a clear view of the consistency of the panel of respondents (aka the Community, aka “The Herd” as they call it), either for B2C and B2B : what are the different profiles amongst the Community, what kind of profiles are interesting to add to the Community to answer clients’ future needs.
  • You define the plan to grow this Community to meet the strategic goals. As a leader, you work with the Project Manager to allow new partnerships and acquisition channels to become successful.
  • You define a retention strategy to avoid the churn of the respondents of the Community. What to do to keep people within the Community?
  • Through actionable KPI’s, you are able to share progress with the rest of the management team.

And you, who are you?

This is not the kind of job you learn at school, there is no specific academic or professional background that leads you to carry on this role. But as part of the management team, we expect from you to have a certain professional maturity, work experience as a teamlead and a broad network and capacity to create solid partnerships. We are also convinced that a strong personality & soft skills is what make the magic happen. Either for the relationship you build with your colleagues, but also for the strong ties you create with the partners and clients.

  • That is forward-thinking and witty, able to not only think out of the box, but also when there is NO box!
  • That is curious, ask the right questions to understand deeper needs
  • That has experience in managing budget and taking advantage of each euro spent
  • That is native Dutch speaking, EN + FR is an advantage

The recruitment process

How does it work?

We consider the interview process to be nothing more than an alignment exercise. So, let's meet with Lola from Working in Brussels to get to know each other a bit better and see if you could be a fit!

If so, you’ll then meet Seppe, Head of People and Marketing, who will give you more details about the company and its challenges.

If it’s a match, you will have a few days to prepare a use case on a very “niche profile” and will have to present a strategy on how to find this specific profile.

Finally, you’ll meet the one of the co-founders and will then receive an offer.
